李丽琴同学：你好！我是嘉儿，来自广东省东莞市洪梅镇中心小学。今年11岁的我，正就读于五年级。我热爱阅读，并展现出过人的语言天赋。我们的学校设施齐全，拥有丰富的体育器材，如羽毛球拍、单杠等。每当下课铃声响起，操场便沸腾起来，充满了欢声笑语。教室宽敞明亮，图书馆、电脑室等多媒体教室一应俱全，我们在这美丽的校园里茁壮成长。

My name is Jiaer. I study at Hongmei Town Central Primary School in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. I am 11 years old and currently in fifth grade. I am passionate about reading and possess a remarkable talent for languages. Our school is well-equipped with various sports facilities, including badminton rackets and horizontal bars. When the class ends, the playground comes alive with laughter and joy. Our classroom is spacious and bright, and the school also boasts a library, computer room, and other multimedia classrooms, where we thrive in this beautiful campus.

你可能对我的来信感到意外，因为我们尚未相识，但我早已对你有所了解。我得知你家境贫寒，因此不得不辍学。据了解，你在学校表现优异，学习态度认真。当我们得知你12岁却只读一年级时，都感到十分震惊。由于种种原因，你错失了宝贵的学习机会。你的学习环境十分艰苦，与我们的优越条件相比，我深感难过。我们享受着良好的饮食和住宿，而你却居住在泥砖屋里；我们拥有丰富的玩具，而你连学费都无法负担，这让我内心十分不是滋味。

Maybe you are surprised by my letter, as we have not met yet, but I already know quite a bit about you. I understand that you had to drop out of school due to financial difficulties. It has been reported that you have performed exceptionally well in school and studied diligently. When we learned that you were 12 years old and only in the first grade, we were greatly astonished.
